HELLO EVERYONE!!!

 

Welcome to my Visionary Art Environment I’m turning my Farm into!

 

As you wander through my web you will see Sculptures--mostly Presents for my Family I’ve Made--& Guitars & Basses—Violins & Cellos, Jewelry I call Trinkets--& my Newest Creations -- Tree Spirits -- I Make to Populate my Farm!

 

 

BEARLIOZ  & WILDE PORKER--both Commissions--Porker was my First Cello I ever made!!!

 

My only formal training was a few Violin Making Lessons from a Bass Fiddle Maker & Kenneth Warren--who started the Chicago School.  All the Rest--Carvings, Inlays, Sculptures, Guitars & Inventions, Jewelry, Tree Spirits-- all Self Taught!

The Carving at the top is a Tribute to My Family & Farm -- who I Dearly Love & without I would not be here or be the Person I Am!  It's a Giant Bird Perched on My House & Barn Pulling a Fish Out of My Pond!  Many people call my Home my Art or Fiddle Farm & say that I've made my own Visionary Art Environment!  They call me a Primitive or Outsider or Self Taught Artist--which I suppose I Am! 

 

All my Work is based on my Love of My Family, Woods, Swamp, Pond--Living Out in Nature & a Belief that Springs from JRR Tolkien's Book the Silmarillion--that We Will All Make a Great Music for Peace!  Most of my Work has been devoted to my Electric Guitars & Basses in which I can Tell these Stories of Peace & Love as Expressed through the Carvings & Inlays—as seen in my First Guitar—my Dragon Rose ^^^ !

I've also Collaborated with Jamaican Artisans on my Guitars & I will be adding a Jamaica Gallery to Exhibit their Works of Art.  In my Sunset Gallery you will see some Sunsets from Negril Beach!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think Carved Heads are More Interesting than Carving arms & legs so I take Tree Branches & turn them upside down & Make Feet with Mushrooms Growing between their Toes with Turtles & Frogs Feeding on them! 

 

 

 

 

 

Down below is an aerial view of my Farm & I will be adding Lots of pictures of my Swamp, Flowers, Birds, & Sunsets!  My Sunset Dancing is kind of a Prayer of mine to go out & Sing & Dance & Give Praises for every Sunset for my Blessings & Gifts of Life I try to Give Back through my Works of Art!  I hope my Art Amuses & Inspires you to Believe--We Will have Peace on Earth--In Our Life Times!!!

I live on the South Side of Hwy 60--My little country road has become a big major highway!  In the North East corner you can see my Spring Fed Pond & my house & barn to the West!  I'm surrounded by 40 acres of Farm Fields which gives me Great Sunsets & where I go every night to Dance & Sing & Give Praises for All my Blessings!   The Woods to the East & South is only part mine but part of a Bigger Woods I call my Swamp--which is Full of Beautiful Flowers--Trilliums & Swamp Orchids--that Change through out the Seasons!  To the West is the West End which My Father sold to neighbors & built a House for He & My Mother  & is in the South West Corner of Our Farm!  I am So Glad to have them So Close!!!  Our Farm is a Diverse Eco-System full of Wild Flowers, Herons & Turkeys, Rare Snakes, with Terrain that ranges from Fertile Farm Fields to Swamp & Woodlands with Great Sunsets!!!  Thank You for Letting me Live in such a Blessed Place!!!
